Since complete snow cover ceased on December 31 we've had very little snow. In fact, we've had almost no snow cover until today. This morning we got about one centimeter, and it's still here as of this afternoon. We did get a centimeter a few days ago but most of it melted within a few hours.
In the past week, most passersby would think we've had NO snow cover, but there were a few spots here and there in the shade.
